One of the changes that is suggested to be made by today's information technology departments is the idea that security should start with the users who access the remote hard drives of the company and shouldn't necessarily be something that's only conducted at the site of the remote storage location itself. Too often today's IT groups are passing over the fact that issues may occur outside the home realm of the company and impact users who aren't even on company property and end up requiring hard drive recovery due to issues that come up while traveling or working from home.
